Living the Dream

I just was searching around, and pretty much addicting myself to blogging once again, and I found myself at a blog for crockpotting. If that is a word. It is here. I am trying the Thai Coconut Chicken. I am not so sure Brian will be up for it, although he really loves authentic thai food, so if it is tasty at all, maybe he'll go for it. Anna loves coconut soup, and so hopefully she'll like this too. At least I know the kids will eat the rice. I am also searching around trying to find interesting blogs to read. I started at the most natural spot, reading friends blogs, and clicking through to ones they like, which is where I found the crockpot one...From there, I found some other interesting reads. I am looking fwd to finding some great blogs. I dont know if anyone will ever "follow" my blog, quite frankly, I am not sure how long I will be able to keep the blogging up...although I DOOO love it. It seems like it could sort of take over my life. Sort of like Facebook and the like. I guess really it is a need to stay connected, an outlet into the world...a way to know you are being heard. For a SAHM, I guess it can really be a release. Anyway. My mom, suggested I photo all the stages of selling the house, and the building of the new one. I have yet to take pictures of the "selection sessions" but I did finally take this one...

It is kind of sad, our first home is being sold. I had 3 of the 4 of my children in this house...well, not LITERALLY, but you know what I mean. This place holds about 5 years of memories. That is a lot of memories for a growing family. I will always have fond memories of this home!

I was talking to brian last night about how he was literally making one of my dreams come true, by us building this house. I mean, it wasn't like I didnt think life would be complete without doing so, but it really is a dream of mine to build. It was one of those rare moments that you realize you are actually living out one of your dreams. It was a bit surreal. But I am deeply grateful!

Your mom is smart to have you chronicle this. You will look back and see how much you have accomplished. You'll definitely cherish the memory. Now, if you're looking for blog to connect with, look no further, count me in :)

Hi there. I am here from SITS, which I am very new to.
I LOVE your blog. I LOVE what you wrote about blogging. I have alot of those same feelings about blogging. And I could spend forever going from blog to blog. There are a ton of really interesting people in this world. I'm not totally sure if anyone is reading my blogs either, but I sure am enjoying them myself. :) I started my first blog over a year ago and it was alot of fun to go back and look through the year. My 2nd blog is based on my Party Business that I am in the progress of getting going. I just wanted a place to keep track of all the wonderful ideas I find online.
So ya...I think that's all for now. :)

Great blog!
Realizing a dream is coming true is such a blessing. Congrats! Good Luck selling your house. It looks quite nice.

How was the Thai Chicken? I love the crockpot. I also find a ton of recipes from orgjunkie.com. She hosts Menu Plan Monday, and there are usually over 300 participants posting their menu plans.
